Sydney Aquarium is a spectacular aquarium located in Darling Harbour which is in the central business district of Sydney. The best way to get to Darling Harbour is by walking from the CBD, or by tram. Many people choose to walk here due to the fact it is scenic and there are many shops along the way.

For the adventurous type, try the diving experience where you'll be able to get into the aquarium with trained staff and have sharks swim right by you. It’s totally safe but still not for the fainthearted!
In addition to being a popular tourist attraction Sydney Aquarium is also a centre for marine conservation and research. They have been involved in sea turtle tagging as well as invertebrate research.
