Sydney Travel
Sydney travel experiences are some of the fondest travel times that a person can have. There is so much to do in Sydney. Regardless of whether you visit the CBD, the inner city or vibrant North Sydney, there is something for everyone.
Without a doubt no Sydney travel trip is complete with visiting the Sydney Opera House and taking in the wonderful vistas of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour. The best way to do this is buy boat or ferry. Take a walk along Circular Quay and you will be greeted by boat and ferry operators who run regular trips out on to the Harbour. Cruise past small islands and inlets as you get the best view in the world. You can also float under the Harbour Bridge for a rather different view of this iconic "coat hanger".
Sydney is home to some of the top restaurants in the world so make sure you get a taste when you visit. The Rocks, Darling Harbour and East Sydney all contain some top restaurants that you simply must visit including Rockpool and Tetsuya's. These are world renowned eateries which must be tasted to be believed.
The historic Rocks area is a fantastic point of interest for Sydney travelers. This ancient part of town has many old buildings from the 1800's and is the oldest part of Sydney. There are many quaint little pubs, cafes and patisseries in this area too. The Rocks is home to markets which are held almost every week and contain some really little nifty items that you can take home as souvenirs.
If you love bargain shopping then head down to Haymarket (near Darling Harbour) and there is Paddy's Markets. You'll find a huge array of bargains here. Everything from clothes to souvenirs to bags and phone accessories. You can easily spend a whole day here.
The beaches of Sydney are just a train ride away. Catch a train to Bondi Junction and then a short bus trip to head to the famous Bondi Beach. It is very crowded in summer but this just adds to the aura of this famous beach.
Everyone should experience traveling in Sydney at least once in their life. It truly is one of the most vibrant and spectacular locations in the world!
